Introduction to common terminology of sensors(5)

20. Sensitivity drift

A change in the slope of the calibration curve due to a change in sensitivity.

21. Thermal sensitivity drift

Sensitivity drift due to changes in sensitivity.

22. Thermal zero drift

Zero drift due to changes in ambient temperature.

23. Linearity

The degree to which the calibration curve is consistent with a specified standard.

24. Philippine linearity

The degree to which the calibration curve deviates from a specified straight line.

25. Long-term stability

The sensor remains capable of maintaining an error of no more than the specified tolerance for a specified period of time.
